To day, June 6th , 2009, There is a farewel ceremony in SMK Negeri 2 Jepara for the 12th grade students who have finised their study. They have studied for three years. and taken the national examination. The boys are wearing white long sleeves shirt, tie and black pants. The girl are wearing white shirt, tie and black skirt. The ceremony is held at the hall of SMK Negeri 2 Jepara.

The students band group of SMK Negeri 2 jepara is participating in the nusic performance competition during the three day Research and Technology ( RETECH ) Expo held in Gedung Wanita Jepara, on july 23 - 25. This band group is choosen as the fisrt winner in the national music performance at jakarta in october, as the final program of the RITECH EXPO 2009.
